ABOUT RECHNER SENSORS - Authorized Distributors - ADVFIT Automation
|
Since the founding of Rechner Industrie-Electronik GmbH in 1965, we have moved into a leading position worldwide through dedication, product innovation and top quality. This holds in particular for our special area of capacitive sensors, where we have played a major role in development and design. Many consider the name Rechner as being synonymous with the capacitive sensor. This is a product that can be used in a great variety of settings which is indispensable for today's automation technology.
The broad range of sensors that Rechner offers is clearly a key element of our success. This range includes capacitive, inductive, opto-electronic, calorimetric and magneto-resistive sensors. Our product range is complemented by a selection of ATEX approved sensors, ancillary equipment, transistor-based signal amplifiers, control units, and power supplies. Description:
The KA7000 sensor operates safely at a higher temperature than standard capacitive sensors. This is required for applications when heat generating equipment is part of the process where the sensor is being used. The KA7000 sensor can be used in applications where the temperature on the active area of the sensor is up to 248°F (120°C). The KA7000 sensor is made of durable materials that can withstand the harsh environments of plastic processing. This sensor has excellent resistance to abrasion, static electricity, and high vibration. For applications where extra resistance to static electricity is needed, a sensor with a PTFE housing or a Rechner High Performance sensor should be used. |
Description:
The i-Level Sensor with metal cable is the solution to level control of containers of all sizes. This technology can be used for tanks ranging from large 20-meter silos down to small containers only a few inches tall. Using our patented 3-electrode technology, Rechner Sensors can measure the entire amount of material that is inside of the container; there are no dead zones. The sensor is immune to material build, temperature changes, and dust interference. The capacitive probe with metal cable is ideally designed for continuous level measurement of dry, free-flowing bulk materials. The metal cable can also be used in non-conductive liquids with low dielectric constant (e.g. oil). When used with non-conductive liquids with low dielectric constants, a coated cable can be provided. The sensor is easy to setup. After mounting the sensor, simply teach the sensor the empty tank condition and then the full tank condition. |
DESCRIPTION:
The LevelMaster series of sensors are designed primarily for the level detection of liquids. This design necessarily includes the ability to detect materials that are sticky, that are conductive, that are acidic/basic, or require hygienic cleaning. The build materials, size, shape, and the process connection of the sensor were chosen to meet hygienic design standards. These design standards were developed by EHEDG and 3-A in conjunction with one another. The sensor meets these standards when installing the sensor using our welding adapter or varivent adapter. |
DESCRIPTION:
KAS Series sensors are used as level detectors in the plastics industry for many operations. Plastic pellets, which form the raw materials for the injection and blow molding industries, can be detected in bins, hoppers, and transfer systems. The signal from the sensors can be used to control bin levels, shut off pneumatic conveyors or operate alarm systems. |
DESCRIPTION:
Level detection of hot melt glue has many technical hurdles that need to be overcome. Most sensors will not work in the extreme heat inside of the melting tank and will not be reliable due to the viscous nature of glue. This is especially true when the machine is turned off and the glue is allowed to harden. This also creates other stresses with expansion and compression of the glue changing states. The solution is Rechner's KFS series of sensors. These durable sensors are designed to work in direct contact with the glue in extreme temperatures of up to 250 degrees Celcius for PTFE or PEEK housings (200 degrees Celcius for GFK housings) and can ignore massive amounts of glue build-up on the sensor to give you a reliable switching point the very first time you turn your machine on. |
DESCRIPTION:
In many industrial applications vibrating rod-type level detectors are used. In some cases these devices cause problems as a result of the mechanical principle the sensor is based on. Vibrating rods (even though they are built tough) are prone to mechanical failure, or can give you false signals due to build up, or can creating a cavity in compressible solids. Powder from granular material often works its way into the bearing and creates false level indication. The KA0689 26-series sensor has no moving parts and no place for material to build-up which eliminates the risk of mechanical failure. The 26 Series sensors are made with food safe PTFE and work with both liquids and solids. Versions for areas with a risk of dust and gas explosion are also available with AtEx and IECEx approvals. |
